- The Car: 2600 lbs
with driver, a 70-81 Camaro sub-frame with a 2X3 square
tube frame rails and a 1.75 round tube roll cage -
raced at Dixie
Speedway
- Suspension: Stock
lower control arms and tubular upper control arms,
adjustable screw jacks for front springs, Pro-Shocks
on all 4 corners, and AFCO rear leaf springs
- Rear End: 6.17 ring
and pinion with spool, modified 4-speed trans (1st
and 2nd gears removed), Tilton 2 disc clutch and mini
starter
- Now for the Engine:
Bowtie 350 block bored .030, LT-1 Heads valves down
sized to 1.94 intake and 1.6 exhaust to be legal for
class. Chevy 2nd design circle cam shaft and valve
springs, Harland Sharp roller rocker arms with Moroso
stud girtles. Moroso swirl polished valves, stock
rods with SPS rod bolts. Forged steel crankshaft with
nitrated journals. Dual diameter headers with lo-back
mufflers (required). HEI ignition system with Accel
coil. Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold with Holley
750 cfm carburetor
